Group Lessons
Yoga: $5.00/class or $50/month Instructor Debbie uses her Kinesiology degree as a foundation, focusing on body alignment, then pulling in aspects of ashtanga yoga, pilates, dance, and meditation. An energizing way to start your day! Monday - Thursday 7:30-8:00 am. Classes may run longer.
Modern dance: Classes are currently being offered through College of the Redwoods. Students must enroll in CR to attend class. We meet T/Th at 4:00. These classes will use techniques from ballet, hip-hop, various ethnic, and jazz. Students will be involved in a performance at the end of the semester. Children's Creative dance: Pre-registration required. $30 a month We have classes designed for 5-6 year-olds and 9-11 year-olds. We will learn to improve coordination and explore the different ways to move to music. Involves two big performances a year, with potential for small appearances.
Tribal Fusion Belly Dance: $35 for five classes, drop-in $10 For all body types! Get in shape while learning the basics of fusion belly dance: posture, arm and hip movements. Taught by Corrine Fetcho.
Line Dance: $5.00 a class. Don't have a partner and love to dance? Try line dancing. Taught by Rey Kleinsasser.
Social/Partner Dancing
Classes are 55 minutes. $30/month/person.
Drop-ins call first, not recomended for end of the month ($8.00).
Beginners Classes: Tuesdays in Crescent City, Wednesdays in Brookings.
Level I (basic beginners): class follows a rotation of merengue, rumba, foxtrot, waltz. Level II (next level up): class follows a rotation of rumba, cha-cha, foxtrot, waltz.
Swing: Thursday is swing night at our Crescent City studio!
Level I (basic beginners): single-step East Coast swing, Jitterbug, big-band music and lot's of fun! In the Level II class, we'll finese what we learned in level I, learn triple-step, and look at west coast swing.
NEW: a DVIDA syllabus East coast swing class through Southwest Oregon Community College's community education program.

Social Dancing I: This eight week class is available on request.
Learn the basics of dancing with a partner. The first class covers basic ballroom steps and getting used to moving with a partner. Then we will spend three lessons each on: merengue, and swing. The last class will be a review of all the dances. A great way to start learning partner dance!
