About Debbie Weist
Owner/Instructor, Debbie Weist started her love of dance at an early age, thanks to a mother who urged her to point her toes for pictures.
After a childhood of dance, gymnastics, and piano classes, she graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a BA in Dance Kinesiology and a music minor. Although her path has taken her to some remote and rugged places and a career with the National Park Service, she sought out dance experiences whenever possible.
On April 15th, 2007, she opened her studio "Dance with Debbie" in Crescent City, later expanding with classes in Brookings, Oregon. She continues to challenge herself and is currently on a journey to become a certified Dance Vision International Dance Association teacher.
